***VISION ALERT*** Investigations continuing into house fire - Belfield

Investigations are continuing into the cause of a house fire in Belfield early this morning.

Fire and Rescue NSW (FRNSW) were called to a property in Michael Avenue just before 2.00am.

Three FRNSW crews attended the incident, with the first arriving reporting thick smoke and flames in the front rooms of the house.

Firefighters attacked the fire which went through the roof but managed to contain it within 45 minutes.

There were no reported injuries.
