Firefighters rush to scene of plane crash - Bankstown

Fire and Rescue NSW (FRNSW) crews are working to free a pilot from the wreckage of a light plane crash this afternoon at Bankstown airport in Sydney's south-west.
The single-engine, four-seater aircraft came down at the airport around 3.40pm.
The aircraft flipped on impact, trapping the male pilot.
A large amount of fuel has spilled from the aircraft.
Eight fire trucks are at the scene where crews have covered the aircraft in fire retardant foam as rescue technicians try to free the pilot, suspected of having leg injuries.
NSW Ambulance paramedics are standing by to gain access to stabilise the male and assess his condition.
It's not yet clear what caused the crash.
