Fire and Rescue NSW ensures puppy rescue mission is a 'howling success' - VIDEO - Holsworthy

Fire and Rescue NSW (FRNSW) crews have rescued a puppy which plunged into a drainage pit today at Holsworthy in Sydney's south-west.
The Staffordshire Bull Terrier, named 'Bingo,' was strolling along Gemas Street around 10:30am, when he fell down a pipe and into the pit.
Upon landing, the clumsy critter became wedged.
FRNSW firefighters were called in to help but were unable to reach the pup.
They deployed an animal catching pole, with a wire loop and auto-lock, which allowed them to gently lift him back to safer ground.
'Bingo' was then reunited with his relieved owner and returned home.
