Unit Fire - Port Kembla

Fire and Rescue NSW crews are currently responding to a unit fire in Port Kembla.

Six firetrucks have been dispatched to attend the fire which was reported to be originating from a garbage shute.

20 people have been evacuated from the building as crews work to extinguish the fire, which is creating a large amount of smoke.
