Man Injured in Fireworks Accident - Cessnock

Fire and Rescue NSW and NSW Ambulance are on the scene of an accident on Stephen St Cessnock where a man was injured by fireworks shortly after 3pm today.
The 33-year-old male has sustained significant facial burns after an explosion involving fireworks and is being airlifted to hospital for treatment.
No one else was injured in the explosion.
