Shop Fire - Wollongong

Fire and Rescue NSW crews from across the Illawarra have contained a fire in a shop in Wollongong.
Crews were called at 4am and arrived to find a large fire in a cafe on Crown Street.
Fire conditions were made worse by strong winds fanning the flames.
The fire is now contained and will be extinguished shortly. Fire and Rescue NSW fire investigators will work with NSW Police to determine the cause and origin of the fire.
Crown St remains closed in both directions between New Dapto Rd and Gladstone Ave.
