Media Advisory - Factory Fire - Kurri Kurri

Fire and Rescue NSW (FRNSW) will hold a media conference this morning to provide an update about the fire operation at Kurri Kurri.
The large blaze in a local aluminium business broke out around 10 am yesterday and required an initial response of 180 firefighters and 45 fire units.

Efforts to extinguish the fire continue this morning and a community alert advising local residents to seek shelter from dangerous smoke remains in place.
