HAZMAT - Queanbeyan East

At around 10.15am this morning, crews from Queenbeyan Fire Station responded to a Hazardous Materials incident in Aurora Avenue, Queanbeyan.
Upon arrival crews observed a small fire in a chemical storage facility which was quickly knocked down by crews.
Additional crews from ACT Fire & Rescue attended shortly after and remained on scene for over two hours rendering the scene safe.
The incident concluded just before 12:30pm and the site was handed back to the owner.
