Unit Fire - Redfern

Fire and Rescue NSW (FRNSW) extinguished a unit fire in Morehead Street, Redfern earlier today.
More than 25 firefighters battled the blaze on the third level of a five storey unit block.
One person self-evacuated and there were no injuries reported.
The fire was extinguished within 25 minutes however the unit was severely damaged.
Superintendent Adam Dewberry from Fire and Rescue NSW (FRNSW) said this is a timely reminder that calling Triple Zero (000) for an emergency can be the difference between life and death.
