House Fire - Dubbo

Shortly before 2am this morning, Fire and Rescue NSW were alerted to a house fire on Church St, Dubbo, with reports of a number of occupants were trapped inside.

Multiple Fire Stations from the Dubbo region arrived on scene to find a single level house well alight with large flames coming from the roof and threatening a neighboring building.

One male occupant was rescued from the home by NSW Police, with firefighters rescuing another female occupant from inside the home a short time later.

Both occupants were treated on scene by before being transported to hospital via NSW Ambulance.

Firefighters managed to bring the blaze under control just before 3am, however the fire had spread to an adjoining retail premises which was severely damaged.
