Kitchen Fire - Ashmont

Just after 3pm, Triple Zero (000) alerted Fire and Rescue NSW to reports of a house fire on Blakemore Avenue, Ashmont.

Turvey Park Fire Station responded to the incident and on arrival found a single level home, with smoke issuing.

Firefighters entered the house and discovered a fire on the kitchen stove.

Crews quickly extinguished the fire and contained it to the kitchen.

Firefighters then ventilated the home before rendering it safe and handing it over to the occupants.

NSW Police and NSW Ambulance were in attendance, no injuries where sustained as a result of the blaze.
