House Fire - Gladesville

Just before 5am this morning Fire and Rescue NSW received a Triple Zero (000) call to reports of a house fire on Ganora Street in Gladesville.

Firefighters from Gladesville Fire Station were first arriving and confirmed a house was well alight and requested more assistance.

As the fire was impacting on neighbouring property, firefighters worked to protect these while also combating the fire.

The single occupant of the house was assisted for minor burns to their hands by Ambulance NSW Paramedics and then conveyed to hospital.

Approximately twenty neighbours were evacuated and are now being allowed to return to their homes.
