House Fire - Westmead

Just after 3pm, multiple Fire and Rescue NSW crews from across Sydney responded to Amos Street, Westmead after receiving numerous Triple Zero (000) calls with reports of a garage fire.

Crews from Parramatta Fire Station were first on scene to find a single level garage attached to a house fully alight with smoke and flames coming through the roof. The fire has since spread to a neighboring property on Anderson St.

More than twenty firefighters are currently on scene and have managed to contain the blaze and prevent it spreading further.

NSW Ambulance are currently on scene, however no injuries have been reported. The cause of the fire is yet to be determined.
