Truck Fire - Lindfield

Just before 2pm this afternoon, Fire and Rescue NSW crews responded to Lindfield Avenue, Lindfield after receiving multiple Triple Zero (000) calls reporting a truck fire.

Crews from Gordon and Willoughby Fire Stations arrived on scene to find large amounts of thick, black smoke issuing from the cabin of the truck which was impacting a number of vehicles nearby.

Firefighters worked to quickly to contain the fire, however the truck and one other vehicle were severely damaged by the blaze.

The driver of the truck was assessed on scene by NSW Ambulance however no injuries were reported.
