House Fire - Narrabri

Just before 7pm yesterday evening Fire and Rescue NSW received a Triple Zero (000) call with reports of a house fire at Nandewar Street, Narrabri.

Three fire trucks from Narrabri Fire Station arrived shortly after to find a single level house with smoke issuing from the windows.

With all occupants accounted for firefighters entered the home and located a fire in the kitchen. Crews worked to extinguish the fire quickly to prevent further damage to the property.

Smoke ventilation and salvage operations have been carried out and the home has now been rendered safe.

Two female occupants were treated on scene by NSW Ambulance for smoke inhalation.
