Car into House - Jerrabomberra

Just before 1:15pm today Fire and Rescue NSW responded to reports of a car that had crashed into a house on Franklin Circuit, Jerrabomberra.

Crews from Queanbeyan Fire Station arrived on scene to find a vehicle lodged in the front of a house, with one person still inside the car due to injury and one person trapped between the car and the house.

With the vehicle impacting the structural integrity of the house Fire and Rescue NSW required additional tools and assistance from ACT Fire Service.

Working together both the ACT and NSW crews got to work quickly to stabilise the house, remove the car and assist the individuals involved.

The two occupants of the car were treated on scene and later transported to hospital by NSW Ambulance.

NSW Police are currently on scene investigating the cause of the incident.
