House Fire - Annandale

Just before 6am this morning Fire and Rescue NSW received a Triple Zero (000) call to attend a house fire in Annandale, Sydney’s inner west.

Firefighters from nearby Glebe and Newtown Fire Stations arrived at Taylor Street soon after and confirmed the rear of the house was on fire.

Crews worked for the next two hours to prevent the fire spreading and to contain it to the house of origin.

The fire has since been extinguished and the site handed over to police.
