Burst Water Main - Picton

Fire and Rescue NSW crews from Picton Fire Station were called to the scene of a burst water main on Heathcote St, Picton just after 1:30pm this afternoon.
Crews arrived to find water shooting up to 20 metres into the air from the burst water main.
Water authorities attended the incident and turned off the water to stop the leak.
The area has since been rendered safe.
Properties in the area have been impacted by flooding due to the large volumes of water.
Traffic may be impacted in the area, please drive with caution.
