Kitchen Fire - Inverell

Shortly before 3:30pm today, Fire and Rescue NSW were alerted to reports of a fire in a house via Triple Zero (000) on Auburn Vale Rd, Inverell.

Crews from Inverell Fire Station arrived quickly to find that a small fire had occurred on the kitchen stove.

Firefighters ventilated the house of smoke and ensured the kitchen was safe again for for the residents to return.

One resident was treated for burns to their hands by NSW Ambulance.
