Tractor Accident - Moree

Published: 30 Aug 2020 10:02am

Just after 10am Fire and Rescue NSW crews from Moree Fire Station responded to reports of a person pinned by a tractor.

Due to the nature of the incident, NSW Police, NSW Ambulance and the RFS also responded.

On arrival crews found a male in his 50s with his leg impaled by a steel part of the tractor attachment and began working on a rescue plan.

Whilst NSW Ambulance worked to stabilise the patient, fire fighters using specialised rescue equipment began carefully cutting the steel that was pinning the patients leg.

In a combined effort from emergency crews the patient has now been safely released and transported to hospital with leg injuries.
