House Fire - Blacktown

Fire and Rescue NSW crews from Fire Stations across Western Sydney are currently on the scene of a house fire on the Hereward Highway, Blacktown.

A number of Triple Zero (000) calls were received to report that the house was well alight.

Crews arrived to the home in minutes and began fighting the blaze, which is believed to have started in the bedroom and spread to the roof of the property.

Crews are continuing work to extinguish the blaze.

Four residents self evacuated and there have been no injuries reported.

Initial reports suggest that the fire may have started by candles burning inside the bedroom.
