Unit fire - Berala

Three Fire and Rescue NSW crews are currently battling a unit fire on Woodburn Road Berala.

The crew from Lidcombe arrived to find a unit on the second story of the complex alight.
Approximately 10 people have evacuated to safety.

Crews have gained entry and working hard to bring the fire under control and carry out search and rescue for any occupants.

UPDATE 6:30pm
Quick actions by Firefighters has resulted in the fire being extinguished, smoke is being cleared from the unit prior to handover.
