Unit Fire - Parramatta

Just after midnight Fire and Rescue NSW received a Triple Zero (000) call to reports of a unit fire in a 9 level building on James Ruse Drive in Parramatta.

Crews arrived to find smoke and flames from a unit on level 6.

Firefighters worked their way into the unit and extinguished the fire, which they found to be burning foodstuffs that was left unattended.
