Woman Saved from House Fire - Bathurst

Fire and Rescue NSW crews from Bathurst Fire Station were called to a home on Rocket Street, Bathurst this morning after reports of a house fire.

Crews arrived to find the home well alight and searched the property, finding one occupant still in the home who was quickly removed.

Firefighters quickly extinguished the blaze, managing to contain it to the room of origin.

The property was extensively damaged.

One woman was transported to hospital for treatment for smoke inhalation.

Investigations into the cause of the fire are ongoing.
