House Fire - Fairfield

Fire and Rescue NSW crews from Yennora, Cabramatta and Smithfield attended a home in Fairfield after a triple zero call to report a fire at 6.57am today.

When the crew arrived on scene they found the single level cladding and tile home well alight.

Two people inside the home were evacuated and transported by ambulance to hospital for treatment for smoke inhalation.

The fire was extinguished however there was significant damage to the home from the fire.

FRNSW is investigating the cause of the fire.
