Electrical Fire - Glen Innes

Just after 7am, Fire and Rescue NSW were called to a Automatic Fire Alarm at a hospital in Glen Innes Road, Glen Innes.

Crews from Glen Innes Fire Station arrived to find 30 staff and patients had been evacuated, and noticed there was a smell of burning in the building.

Upon further investigation, crews determined an electrical fire had occurred in the ceiling.

Crews rendered the area safe, and all occupants were able to return safely.

NSW Rural Fire Service, NSW Police, and NSW Ambulance also attended.
