Firefighters extinguish house fire - Narara

Fire and Rescue NSW (FRNSW) crews are mopping up after a fire that's badly damaged a home at Narara, on the state's Central Coast.

The fire broke out, engulfing the top floor of the two-storey house in Shona Close, just after 9.45am.

Nine fire trucks, including an aerial platform appliance, rushed to the scene as firefighters battled to extinguish the flames.

Crews carried out searches of the home and accounted for all occupants who made it outside to safety.

The top floor of the home has been destroyed.

The cause of the fire has not yet been determined.
