FRNSW specialists support clean-up efforts in flood-hit communities - VIDEOt - Central West & Riverina

Fire and Rescue NSW (FRNSW) continues to assist residents and businesses in the state's flood-hit Central West, with some now able to begin cleaning up as others are forced to wait for water levels to drop.
FRNSW Strike Team 'Oscar' and HAZMAT specialists have today been clearing rancid meat from a butcher shop in flood-ravaged Eugowra.
The supplies had begun rotting as a result of floodwater inundating the town and electricity being cut-off.
Firefighters carefully helped transport and dispose of the meat at the local tip, while decontaminating and sanitising the shop to enable it to safely operate when it is restocked.
FRNSW has also washed out Eugowra's supermarket, clearing mud and debris.
Additional FRNSW flood teams are positioned in impacted areas of Forbes and Parkes, where they have begun supporting recovery efforts.
However, the stubbornly-high outflows from the Lachlan River are slowing the clean-up process, with floodwaters not likely to recede for some time.
Tomorrow, in-water rescue specialists on-loan from Singapore will join the NSW State Emergency Service (NSW SES)-led operations in Parkes and Wagga Wagga.
