Man trapped for 24 hours - Razorback

Fire and Rescue NSW (FRNSW) firefighters, who've rescued an elderly man from a car that crashed down an embankment at Razorback on Sydney's south-western outskirts, believe he'd lain in the wreckage for more than 24 hours.
Emergency crews were called to Old Razorback Road around 5pm today.
When firefighters arrived, they located a vehicle that had crashed several metres down the isolated embankment, trapping the man, aged in his 80's, inside.
Firefighters used cables and winches to prevent the car crashing further down the slope.
They then cut away the side panels so the man could be reached and treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics.
After he was stabilised, the elderly patient was strapped into a rescue stretcher and walked up the incline by FRNSW and Rural Fire Service (RFS) firefighters, using a rescue rope for stability and safety.
The man has been transported to hospital for further treatment.
