Kebab Shop Fire - Lidcombe

Published: 21 Jul 2022 07:53am

Fire and Rescue NSW (FRNSW) crews have extinguished a fire in a kebab shop this morning at Lidcombe in Sydney's west.

FRNSW received multiple Triple Zero (000) calls to the fire in John Street, just before 6am.

Crews from Lidcombe and Silverwater fire stations arrived to find flames had breached the roller doors of the shop.

Firefighters outside battled the blaze, while other crews searched a residence above the business and declared it vacant.

Once the fire had been contained, FRNSW ventilated the property to clear the smoke.

NSW Police were also in attendance.
