Fire and Rescue NSW (FRNSW) crews are at the scene of a Hazardous Materials incident on Dangar Island, on the state's Central Coast.

Hazmat-trained crews from the Berkeley Vale Fire Station are working to isolate a leaking hydraulic oil bulk container that's been beached on the northern side of the island.

The incident occurred amid heavy weather conditions just before 10am.
