Truck Fire - Nambucca Heads

Fire and Rescue NSW (FRNSW) extinguished a fire in the trailer of a B-double truck on the Pacific Highway, Nambucca Heads in the early hours of the morning.
Firefighters arrived on scene around 3.00 am and found a trailer well alight. The driver disconnected the trailer and moved the truck to a safe location.
Crews extinguished the blaze in just under an hour with the assistance of NSW RFS.
No injuries were reported.
Superintendent Adam Dewberry from Fire and Rescue NSW (FRNSW) said this is a timely reminder that calling Triple Zero (000) for a fire emergency can be the difference between life and death, or a building or other property being saved or destroyed.
The Triple Zero (000) service is the quickest way to get the right resources from emergency services to help you. It should be used to contact Police, Fire or Ambulance services in life-threatening or time-critical situations.

NAMBUCCA HEADS | #FRNSW crews have nearly extinguished a truck fire on the Pacific Hwy. The prime mover was removed however the trailer has been severely damaged by fire. The road is not completely closed however traffic is affected in the area.
