House Fire - Lethbridge Park

Published: 14 Feb 2022 02:47pm

Fire and Rescue NSW (FRNSW) extinguished a house fire in Lethbridge Park in Sydney's west this afternoon.

The fire is believed to have started under the house around 2.45 pm before moving to the first floor and through the roof.

Two adults and five children, including a one-year-old baby, safely self-evacuated the property.

Firefighters extinguished the fire and conducted salvage operations at the premises.

NSW Police and NSW Ambulance were also in attendance.

Superintendent Adam Dewberry from Fire and Rescue NSW (FRNSW) said this is a timely reminder that calling Triple Zero (000) for a fire emergency can be the difference between life and death, or a building or other property being saved or destroyed.

The Triple Zero (000) service is the quickest way to get the right resources from emergency services to help you. It should be used to contact Police, Fire or Ambulance services in life-threatening or time-critical situations.
