Emergency Services Minister thanks Clarence Valley firefighters for flood and fire efforts

Media outlets are invited to join NSW Minister for Emergency Services and Resilience, Steph Cooke, at South Grafton Fire Station today as she expresses her gratitude to local Fire and Rescue NSW (FRNSW) crews for their actions combatting major flood and fire emergencies in recent years.

The Grafton and South Grafton Fire Stations, primarily staffed by local, retained firefighters, have played major roles in many emergencies over the last few years, including the Black Summer bushfires at Rappville in October 2019; Port Macquarie and Northern Rivers floods; and the Nana Glen train derailment.
