House Fire - Beaumont Hills

Fire and Rescue NSW (FRNSW) investigators are working to determine the cause of a house fire at Beaumont Hills in Sydney's north-west.
FRNSW received numerous Triple Zero (000) calls to Iwan Place, where they found the upper level of a two-storey house totally involved in flames, just before 4pm yesterday.
Crews in breathing apparatus quickly commenced firefighting operations and contained the fire to the top floor.
The occupants of the home had made their own way to safety.
20 firefighters worked for just under two hours to extinguish the blaze.
The Ladder platform from Parramatta Fire Station was required to inspect the roof for damage and check solar panels.
The top level of the house was severely damaged whilst the ground floor suffered water and smoke damage.
Superintendent Adam Dewberry from Fire and Rescue NSW (FRNSW) said this is a timely reminder that calling Triple Zero (000) for a fire emergency can be the difference between life and death, or a building or other property being saved or destroyed.
The Triple Zero (000) service is the quickest way to get the right resources from emergency services to help you. It should be used to contact Police, Fire or Ambulance services in life-threatening or time-critical situations.
