Kitten Rescue - Guilford

A tiny kitten has been rescued by a Fire and Rescue NSW (FRNSW) crew from the rooftop of a school building at Guildford, in Western Sydney today.
Firefighters swung into action to reach the fluffy feline from its rooftop rest-stop after crews arrived at Palmer Street just after 8:00 AM.
A concerned neighbour and his wife watched the tiny rescue with bated breath after calling Triple Zero (000) to aid the inquisitive kitty.
The good samaritan couple has graciously taken the kitten to the vet for a check-up and microchip scan to find the owner.
Superintendent Adam Dewberry from Fire and Rescue NSW (FRNSW) said this is a timely reminder that calling Triple Zero (000) for an emergency can be the difference between life and death.
The Triple Zero (000) service is the quickest way to get the right resources from emergency services to help you. It should be used to contact Police, Fire or Ambulance services in life-threatening or time-critical situations.
