Car Fire - Rooty Hill

Fire and Rescue NSW (FRNSW) crews extinguished a car engulfed in fire last night at Rooty Hill, in Sydney's west.
Firefighters arrived in Kellogg Road around 10.30pm and went to work putting out the flames.
Vehicle fires can be quite difficult and dangerous for firefighters to extinguish as the different materials in a car can reignite and the metals can generate significant heat.
The cause of the blaze, which destroyed the car, is under investigation.
