Minor Gas Leak - Broken Hill

Fire and Rescue (FRNSW) have evacuated four people from a service station at Broken Hill, in the state's far west, where a car has been leaking Liquid Petroleum Gas (LPG).

The fire crews attended the scene in Galena Street just after 10am today.

They switched off the service station's power supply and conducted gas monitoring in the vicinity.

The area was quickly declared safe.
