Shipping Container Fire - Ingleburn

Published: 01 Oct 2021 05:13am

Approximately 40 firefighters from Fire and Rescue NSW (FRNSW) have extinguished a shipping container fire in a storage yard at York Road, Ingleburn, earlier this morning.

Ten fire trucks were on scene, as crews extinguished and prevented the fire from spreading to neighbouring buildings and containers.

Forklift operators also assisted crews in moving containers to allow firefighters a clear path to attack the fire.

Six shipping containers stocked with furniture and bedding were destroyed by the fire.

NSW Police and Ambulance NSW were also in attendance.
