Silo Fire - Brooklet

Early this morning, Fire and Rescue NSW (FRNSW) was notified of a silo fire at a property on Friday Hut Road.
Crews arrived to find a fire in the base of a 15m silo containing macadamia nuts.
Firefighters have directed large hose lines into the silo to lower the temperature of the burning contents. Firefighting operations will be ongoing until the contents are safely removed and completely extinguished.
Four FRNSW crews are on scene along with the Rural Fire Service.
