Unit Fire - Malabar

Shortly before 10am, Fire and Rescue NSW (FRNSW) responded to numerous Triple Zero (000) calls for a unit fire on Wyee Pl, Malabar.

Crews arrived to find a ground floor unit alight with smoke and flames issuing.

More than 20 firefighters worked to extinguish the fire before undertaking salvage and ventilation operations.

One person was removed from the unit.

Investigations are continuing.

NSW Police and NSW Ambulance were also in attendance.
