Bondi Beach School Fire - Bondi Beach

Published: 09 Jun 2021 04:57am

Just before 5:00pm Fire and Rescue NSW (FRNSW) responded to multiple triple zero (000) calls of smoke coming from a school building at Bondi Beach Public School.

NSW Police Officers were first on scene and went inside to search the building as it was unknown if anyone was inside.

The fire was on the second floor, once FRNSW arrived on scene and got to work they were able to conduct a full search throughout the building and confirm no one was inside.

Firefighters extinguished the fire from outside the building and contained the fire to a classroom. The City of Sydney’s Bronto Ladder Platform truck was utilised to inspect the fire spread.
