House Fire - Gunnedah

Fire and Rescue NSW (FRNSW) extinguished a fire in a house on Lawson Avenue, Gunnedah, this afternoon.

Firefighters arrived to find the house alight with smoke and flames issuing from the roof cavity.

Firefighters quickly got to work, extinguishing the fire a short time later.

FRNSW remained on scene to conduct salvage and overhaul operations before handing the scene over to NSW Police.
