Gas Leak - Lane Cove North

Just before 3:00 pm this afternoon Fire and Rescue NSW (FRNSW) were responded to reports of a leaking gas cylinder on Elizabeth Pde, Lane Cove North.
Firefighters arrived to find a 9kg gas cylinder leaking under pressure from under a parked car after falling from a passing vehicle.
The gas cylinder was labelled as Liquid Nitrogen.
Firefighters deployed protection hose lines to protect nearby exposures and established a restricted access zone.
The gas cylinder was rendered safe and removed from road into a restricted access zone.
