Window Cleaner Rescue - Dawes Point

Fire and Rescue NSW (FRNSW) crews safely retrieved a stranded window cleaner who was stuck in a scissor lift outside a building in Hickson Road, Dawes Point this afternoon.

The cleaner was stuck three levels up after the scissor lift had become unstable and fallen against the building.

A responding FRNSW crew from the Rocks Fire Station were first on scene to reassure the scissor lift operator and along with NSW Police Rescue, were able to remove him safely through a window.

NSW Ambulance were in attendance to assess and treat the patient for shock.
