Motor Vehicle Accident - Eastern Creek

Fire and Rescue NSW (FRNSW) attended a motor vehicle accident on the M7 near Eastern Creek, just after 4:30pm.

Once on scene firefighters were faced with a 4 car crash, with one person trapped in a van and fluids leaking on the road.

FRNSW commenced extrication of the occupant utilising specialist rescue equipment. The occupant of the vehicle was removed a short time later and transported to hospital by helicopter.

Firefighters cleared the fluids spilt on the road and rendered the area safe.

There were no reported injuries from the other vehicles.

NSW Police, NSW Ambulance and NSW Rural Fire Service were also in attendance.
