Shop Fire - Liverpool

More than 30 Fire and Rescue NSW (FRNSW) firefighters have managed to extinguish a large fire that broke out at a shop on Macquarie Street, Liverpool just after 5.30am this morning.

On arrival, crews found one shop alight with a row of shops heavily smoke-logged. Firefighters worked for more than two hours to contain the blaze and prevent it from spreading further.

Three shops have been damaged by fire spread through the roof of the property, however no injuries have been reported.

Fire investigators are currently on scene however the cause of the fire is yet to be determined.
