Bush Fire - Balgowlah Heights

Fire and Rescue NSW (FRNSW) are currently in attendance at a bush fire on Barenna Drive, Balgowlah Heights, after being responded just after 1.45pm.

On arrival, crews found a fire that was approximately once acre in size, burning close to nearby houses on Heathcliff Cresent. Crews from Manly, Mosman and Dee Why worked to extinguish the fire and protect nearby homes.

Firefighters brought the fire under control at approximately 2.45pm, and are now working to extinguish any remaining hot spots.
