House Fire - Doonside

Almost thirty Fire and Rescue NSW (FRNSW) firefighters have managed to extinguish a blaze that broke out at a home on Perigee Close, Doonside just before 8:30am this morning.

Crews arrived on scene a short time later and were met with an intense fire, with large plumes of smoke and flames billowing from the roof of the home.

Firefighters worked for an hour to contain the blaze, however the home was severely damaged.

The residents, one adult and three children were treated on scene for smoke inhalation and transported to hospital by NSW Ambulance.

Fire investigators are currently on scene working to determine the cause of the fire.
