House Fire - Gymea Bay

Just before 4:00 pm today, Fire and Rescue NSW (FRNSW) responded to multiple triple zero (000) calls to reports of a house fire on First Avenue, Gymea Bay

On arrival, crews found thick black smoke issuing from a flat detached from the premises.

Over 20 firefighters are responding from surrounding areas to contain the fire.

Firefighters quickly contained the fire to the lounge and garage and stopped the fire from spreading.

Investigations into the cause of the fire are ongoing

NSW Police and Ambulance NSW were in attendance
